MICHAEL GUNNING: Jamaica’s first openly gay athlete chats about racism and homophobia in sport.

The former Team GB and Jamaica swimmer lifts the lid on what he’s overcome growing up as a black, gay swimmer and how his experiences are fueling his bid to improve diversity and inclusion, as well as mental health in sport. 

He also talks about how coming out could benefit athletes heading to the Paris Olympics this summer, the positive impact British diver Tom Daley has had on him and his upcoming TV series with Sky Sports.
